existing Branch Hydro Scheme to include Wairau River and construct,

power production within the Wairau Valley.

The proposed intake works are to
commence approximately 2kms above the Branch River/Wairau River
confluence with the final point of discharge to the Wairau River
being approximately 46kms downstream (near the Wairau River/Marchburn
River confluence).

Residual flow in Wairau River = seasonal regime varying from
