CAROLE (SID) DOECKE – Portfolio Manager – B.Com (VPM) Lincoln University, MPINZ, Registered Valuer.

With over 20 years of valuation experience in private practice and government departments in both Australia and New Zealand Sid brings a robust and in depth knowledge of property issues to Abel Properties.
This expertise has been further enhanced by three years as Rural Lending Manager with the National Bank and, more recently, as Manager of Crown Property portfolios for LINZ.
As a result Sid adds knowledge of portfolio management and implementation to her extensive property experience, coupled with excellent research skills, a high degree of computer literacy and proven database management.

Having previously run her own business
providing office support for small companies, Clare brings extensive
business knowledge to Abel Properties Limited, including word-processing, database
management. powerpoint presentations and website design and
maintenance.
Besides organising two highly successful seminars for the tourism
and forestry sectors in the Marlborough Region, Clare's previous
positions have included working in LINZ, local government and
a law office.
At Abel Properties Limited Clare's role includes property management, preparation
of leases/licences, land status investigations and office administration.

Steph joined Abel Properties Limited
with experience in general administration, accounting, computerised
cataloguing and databases.
Steph's role in Abel Properties Limited is in accounts and property administration.
She is responsible for processing and preparing financial reports
on all Abel Properties Limited's contract accounts. Steph also administers rural
land leases and licences and is responsible for commercial buildings
managed by Abel Properties Limited.

STEVE WILKES - Resource Management Manager - BSc, MSc (Hons) Victoria University

Steve has over 14 years experience
in both the private and public sectors, including regional councils,
unitary authorities, farming, university lecturing and private
practice. He also has international experience in flood hazard
identification and mitigation and farm management.
Steve's Master of Science (Hons) is in Physical Geography. During
his studies, Steve's key areas of research and interest were
catchment hydrology, fluvial geomorphology and natural hazards.
Steve's combination of qualifications, hands on work experience
and extensive knowledge of the Resource Management Act ensures
that clients receive the practical and technical expertise they
require.

BRONWEN FRAZER - Resource Management Consultant - BSc (Geol) University of Canterbury

Bronwen joined Abel Properties with local experience as a Resource Management Consultant and Engineering Technician with a particular emphasis on Wastewater Management.
Bronwen has completed a BSc in Geology with an environmental background and has a keen interest in viticulture/winery developments, water resources and land disturbance. She also offers a sound knowledge of resource management issues within the Marlborough Sounds. Bronwen's background and qualifications ensure that clients receive the practical and technical expertise required.

CLINTON PEMBERTON - Civil Engineer - B.E. (Hons) Civil Canterbury University, N.Z.C.E. (Civil)

Clinton has over 10 years experience in planning, design, project management, delivery and maintenance of infrastructural projects in both the public and private sectors. This experience includes involvement in a number of developments in both Marlborough and Nelson.
It also includes three years in the UK just prior to joining Abel Properties. While there Clinton worked on large scale highway schemes with particular emphasis on highway drainage design and modelling and on surface water treatment systems, including Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems. In the UK Clinton also worked on the infrastructural design of Greenfield and Brownfield developments including the development of large supermarket chains.
Clinton provides both Civil engineering design and project management experience, with special expertise in subdivisions, drainage, infrastructural design and construction management.

LEITH BRUNING - Project Manager - BA (Hons) Geography, Canterbury University.
Post Graduate Diploma of Teaching, Christchurch College of Education.

Leith brings a rich background of experience to his position as project manager at Abel Properties. Leith attended Nelson College before achieving honours in geography at Canterbury University where he specialised in coastal processes and resource management during his honours year. He also represented New Zealand in rugby at U19, U21 and University levels. After university Leith went on to achieve a post graduate teaching diploma at Christchurch College of Education after which he taught geography and PE for some years at Palmerston North Boys College.
From teaching Leith moved to professional rugby and made his mark on the international scene as a player in both Japan and Scotland. On his return to New Zealand he was employed by Tasman Rugby Union as Rugby Development Officer responsible for all rugby activities in the Marlborough Region. Leith brings the valuable expertise he has gained from his varied career to his project management role at Abel Properties.

ROBBIE MANSON - Engineering Technician

Robbie joined Abel Properties Limited with experience gained from working in the family vineyard. As a student he attended Marlborough Boys College and St Andrews College in Christchurch where he excelled in physics, calculus and design.
Robbie's role in Abel Properties Limited is on the technical side in the engineering department where his expertise in mathematics and design is put to excellent use. Robbie's computer literacy and skills are vital components of his work in producing engineering drawing and design to the specifications of the engineering team.
Robbie's main interest outside work is training with the Central Region High Performance Rowing Centre in Marlborough.

ANGELA ADYE - Resource Management Assistant - BA (Hons) Canterbury
University.
Graduate Christchurch Teachers College

Blenheim born and bred,
Angela has travelled extensively gaining experience overseas
in tourism, graphic design and project management. She managed
a safari camp and worked in tourism in Tanzania, East Africa
and ran her own graphic design company for a number of years
in Surrey, England.
During her last 5 years in the UK Angela worked at Devon County
Council in the South West of England. For two of those years
Angela was lead project manager for an EU funded renewable energy
project which won an award for innovation and excellence. Angela
was then made the Devon County Council renewable energy officer
building on the work begun during the project and writing a
renewable energy strategy for Devon County Council.
On her return to Blenheim, Angela worked for two years at Radich
Dwyer Solicitors as Legal Executive to one of the partners before
joining APL.
Angela brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her position
at Abel Properties Limited.

PAULINE TROON -Administration Manager

Pauline joined Abel Properties Limited after two years
of overseas travel before which she worked for twelve years
as an executive officer in the education industry, legal secretary
in a law firm and PA to the managers of two large South Island
companies.
Pauline brings to Abel Properties Limited the management and people skills that
come from operating, together with her husband, two of her own
businesses in the food industry.
Pauline's role at Abel Properties Limited includes receptionist, tenancy & rental
management, credit/debit control, monthly reporting and all
associated office administration work.
