Abel Properties Limited manages Marlborough Airport Limited under contract to Marlborough District Council. Its sister company, Lakes Property Services, manages commercial property at Wanaka Airport.

The management of Marlborough Airport Limited is undertaken from the APL offices in Blenheim. Efficient off-site management is maximised through robust relationships with tenants, surveillance and communications technology.

In specialised areas such as aircraft landing fees and security APL uses specialised software able to be tailored to accommodate changes where required.

As well as property administration, APL also brings engineering and project experience to airport management of maintenance and development works.

APL holds a Coordinated Incident Management Systems (CIMS) Certificate from the Emergency Management Academy of New Zealand.
